Emily Wolfe courtesy Casey Ryan

Austin, Texas, singer-songwriter Emily Wolfe has two signature Epiphone guitars.

Emily Wolfe rocks. There isn’t much more to say and it really is about that simple. The Austin, Texas, artist is not just a singer-songwriter, but also a talented guitarist who is sponsored by Epiphone and has two signature guitars with the legendary guitar company. Pretty nifty!

is more than just an instrumental wizard, however. Her latest album, “The Blowback,†is full of catchy, riff-tastic pop-rock ‘n’ roll that recalls a lot of great up-and-coming bands like Ratboys, Hop Along and Bully. Where those bands are more indie- or punk-influenced, however, Wolfe’s songs are a throwback to the days when big, bluesy, classic rock ‘n’ roll reached for the back row of the arena.
